2014
The signing of an agreement between the intellectual property authors (UB-IFGM) for the operation of the product through the company PhysicalTech s.l. The establishment of the PhysicalTech company for the operation of technology products in the health and sport sector. The finalization of version1.0 of the ADiBAS Posture software to use it with the Kinect ™ camera.
2012
The financing and the participation of IFGM to continue with the research and development in the 3D image digitalisation for the postural analysis with the cooperation of computer engineers and researchers from the UB. The realisation of preliminary scientific studies on the validation of the ADIBAS software.
2011
The development of the first trial version of ADIBAS for postural analysis through the multisensor Kinect ™. Through the Fundació Bosch i Gimpera, an agreement of co-ownership is signed between the University of Barcelona and the Institute for Global Physiotherapy Mézières, for the work: Automatic Digital Biometry Analysis System (ADiBAS). The software is registered in the intellectual property registry of Barcelona.
2010
The agreement between the engineers at the University of Barcelona and the private company IFGM (Instituto de Fisioterapia Global Mézières), to develop a software which enables us the automatic postural analysis based on digital photogrammetry. and in a second stage begins investigating with the Kinect ™ multisesor on the market in November 2010. In a second step, we begin the research with the Kinect™ multisensor which appears on the market in November 2010
Before 2010
In the health area, the IFGM training company (Instituto de Fisioterapia Global Mézières), established in 2001, develops its teaching activity at the university sector (Universitat Internacional de Catalunya. Barcelona. Spain) and in educational companies of the private sector. The IFGM teachers are experts in the assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders following a global approach based on the postural reeducation. During this phase, softwares based on 2D digital image are used for the postural analysis. In the area of computer engineering and from the University of Barcelona and the Computer Vision Center at the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona, the engineers of our team lead projects related to human posture and behavior analysis
